Travella was founded in 1987 by Linda & Pietro Travella
to make the buying of property in Italy easier, which it
was not in those days when there were still currency
restrictions in place! It was one of the first companies
to offer help at all stages of the purchase process and
beyond. The director of the company, Linda Travella
speaks fluent Italian, has lived and worked in Italy,
knows the areas personally, and is able to offer expert
advice.
Linda spent 4 years as chairman of The
Federation of Overseas Property Developers, Agents and
Consultants (now merged with the NAEA) and was the only
woman chairman ever in it's 35 year history. Linda is
now International media spokeswoman for National
Association of Estate Agents and is a member of the
International Committee
